You’ll have the choice of a variety of local ales, fine wines, and spirits as well as plenty of hot and non-alcoholic drinks. We’re a dog friendly, family oriented venue with a fantastically spacious beer garden in which to soak up some sunshine. We welcome families with open arms and our children’s menu has all the favourites. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, visiting the area, or just fancy a night out of the kitchen, our team will ensure everyone in your group has an enjoyable visit. You can also dine in our garden area in the summer or hire our marquee for children’s parties, weddings, wakes and other functions.
As well as eat-in dining, we continue to provide a takeaway service Tuesday to Thursday with food collectable from 5pm to 10pm. Orders should be placed in advance and last orders are at 8pm. You can also order afternoon tea for home delivery within 3 miles. This should be ordered at least 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
We offer a buffet menu and funeral catering menu which is available for local delivery or collection. You can also hire our marquee or restaurant by prior booking for your private function.
Our cold serve buffet dishes are made to order using plenty of local produce and includes sandwiches, pastries, platters, salads and more. We recommend you confirm numbers and book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Four-legged family members are welcome to join us too, with seating available inside and out. You can purchase dog-friendly snacks from the bar and we’ll get your fur baby some water too. We understand the challenges dog owners face in trying to find a friendly and welcoming environment that appreciates both them and their pet, which is why you won’t be left out in the cold when you come to us. Booking is recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
